Adani Shantivan township is a 2 phase development of which the first phase was developed in the year 2000. The second phase of development of the balance land in phase-1 and the land across the river along with the connecting bridge over the river were proposed in phase-2.
Areas for the various housing typologies – bungalows, 3 beds, 2 beds, 1.5 beds and 1 bed apartments, studio apartments and a guest house building have been clearly demarcated, each having a contiguous open-space stream within, along with a community center – includes maintenance office, stores & security.
At the entrance from the highway, and facing the highway, a commercial complex is proposed having two distinct areas – a built-up space and an open plaza for weekly markets and informal food-court.
Our attempt in this proposal is to densify further and consume greater FSI than those areas developed in phase-1. Amenities like community center, temple, school, sports pavilion, hospital, skill development center, shopping mall have been proposed to enhance the lifestyle in the township.
